Stuart Little, Ph.D.

Executive Director, Behavioral Health Network of Kansas

Dr. Stuart Little serves as Executive Director of the Behavioral Health Network of Kansas (BHNK), where he leads statewide collaboration to strengthen behavioral health systems, expand access to recovery services, and advocate for innovative, sustainable funding models.

In addition to his leadership at BHNK, Dr. Little is the founder of Little Government Relations, a Kansas-based firm representing organizations in public education, healthcare, local government, and business. His bipartisan approach emphasizes outcomes, issue awareness, and effective navigation of the legislative and administrative process.

Before founding his firm, Dr. Little worked as a senior fiscal analyst for the Kansas Legislative Research Department, staffing key committees on budget and policy. He has also served as an editorial assistant for the American Historical Review and as an adjunct professor of history at Washburn University.

Dr. Little holds a dual degree in Political Science and History from Oklahoma State University, a Master’s in U.S. History from the University of Kansas, and a Doctorate in History from Indiana University.
